The setting of the story How My Brother Leon Brought Home a Wife was in Nagrebcan, Bauang La Union. It is a place with a very small population in the province of La Union, Philippines. Cities, Towns and places near Nagrebcan include Parian Oeste-Pudoc, Dili, Nagsinaan and Taberna.

1. Leon/Noel - Maria's husband, older brother of Baldo.
2. Maria - Leon's wife.
3. Baldo - Leon's younger brother, also the narrator of the story.
4. Leon and Baldo's Parents.
5. Aurelia - Leon and Baldo's younger sister.
6. Labang - the Carabao.

• PLOT
• Leon and Baldo waited for the arrival of Maria at the barrio.
• Maria was afraid that she won't be accepted by Leon's father because she may not able to adapt their way of living in the province.
• Baldo was ignoring to his older brother's question about why they had to go to Waig instead of Camino Real. (The reason is that their father wanted to test Maria if she is worthy to be Leon's wife.)
• Baldo discussed their travel to his father.
• Leon's entire family talked to Maria. His Father's voice became livelier than before when he talked to her (which means he accepted her wholeheartedly.)

The theme of 'How My Brother Leon Brought Home a Wife' is that one must preserve, even through certain sacrifices, in order to reach one's goal. In particular:

How My Brother Brought Home A Wife by Manuel is told in first person point of view since it is the narrator, Baldo, Leon's younger brother who tells the story of his new sister-in-law's arrival and how she came to fit in with her new family.

• Woooh! August 1, 2014 12:45am I'm already 20 years old HAHAHAHA. After many trials, I can't believe I'm still alive, oops! don't mind it hahahaha.

  The most important is I'm still a member of the "Iglesia Ni Cristo". Now, I promised to my self as a Computer Science student that I will do my best to finish my course. I will not depend on my own understanding.

"Ang hirap mag-aral pero masmahirap ang walang pinag-aralan." Pinaninindugan ko itong word na ito pero minsan d mo maiwasang mawalan ng pag-asa. Sana dumating ulit ung pakiramdam na kampante ka tulad nung 1st year college. Paimportante kc ung Physics1 eh kung mambagsak kala mo major Z_z.
Sya lng tlga ung professor na hahadlang sa mga pangarap mo, marami nang mga kaklase ko ang naiinis sa pag mamanage nya sa pagtuturo, English speaking nya sablay. DIba dapat ang professor gagawin ang lahat para pumasa ung estudyante nya?.. Sya hindi eh..

woooh!! This week is so stressful preparing for db2 defense, db2 certification and final exam but my concentration is for the certification because this is once in a lifetime.

Defense for CS222 - Object-Oriented Programming is done. Now, preparing for DB2 CERTIFICATION, D Day. Yeah ROck 'n Roll. I have to pass the certification because this is my dream. I will do anything to finish my studies. You can't explain the feeling when you finish the course you like. Goodluck...!!!!

I passed the mock exam. The required score to pass is 60 out of 100 and I've got 87 and I'm qualified to take the IBM certification. Now I'm preparing for our case study on March 4 for Object-Oriented Programming. G O_o d Luck!!.

I dropped MAT222 Probability and Statistics one of my minor subject. I decided to take this again after I finish Physics 1 and 2. I'm so stressed because we have 2 case studies Object Oriented Programming and Database Management. This is the first time that I dropped one of my subject. Now I'll do my best to finish my study no matter what happen to my bone ..!!
